125 Chapel Appeal

Opened in 1911, St Cuthbert's Chapel is a magnificent building that proudly stands at the heart of our community and holds a special place in the hearts of many of our former students. Following a recent survey that was commissioned, a number of structural repairs have been identified that need to be carried out both internally and externally to ensure the future integrity of the building. This fund has been created to support the ongoing maintenance and restoration of the Chapel to ensure it can be enjoyed by many more future generations of Worksopians to come.

is the UK’s biggest online shopping fundraising site. As a community, we can raise money for Worksop's 125 Bursary Fund simply by going through the easyfundraising website every time we shop online. It doesn’t cost a penny extra, as the donations come directly from the retailers, and it’s really simple to use.

There are nearly 3,000 companies involved in the scheme, including Amazon, Marks and Spencer, Expedia,, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury's, so you can collect on everything from groceries, electronics and fashion to household utilities. Each retailer will donate an average of 5% of the cost of your shopping to Worksop College.

125 Bursary Appeal

Since Worksop College opened its doors in 1895, bursaries have played an important part in the school’s commitment to providing a first-class education for as many promising pupils as our resources will allow.

We believe Worksop College is at its greatest when we are a diverse school, one with a healthy social mix and a breadth of talent, character and backgrounds. Our ability to offer bursaries lies at the heart of this and our aim is to grow the Bursary Appeal Fund into a sustainable source of funding that will support a greater number of deserving, passionate and talented pupils on bursary places for years to come.

Our target is to grow the fund for bursaries by £125,000 in the first year as we mark 125 years since the school first opened its doors. We cannot do this alone and our goal can only be achieved through the collective, generous support of you, the family of Worksop College.
